Additionally, you can pack the bed full since it has a 2,360-lb. maximum payload capacity2. Your rides will stay smooth no matter where you’re heading thanks to the available class-exclusive Active-Level™ four-corner air suspension system3, which will cushion the chassis at every step of the journey.
Exterior
The exterior of the 2026 Ram 1500 is as rugged as it is versatile. Packing your items has never been easier thanks to the available Rambox® cargo management system, as it gives you plenty of options to maximize storage space. Additionally, you can find an optional 115-volt AC outlet in the bed, which can keep any appliances or items powered. Accessing the bed won’t be an issue either with the standard 60/40 split swing-away doors. This feature allows you to either swing the doors open or to bring them down vertically depending on your current needs. Walking back to the car after a late night can sometimes make it difficult to see what you’re doing, but the available customizable LED walk-up animation will change that.
Technology
With an array of technological features, the 2026 Ram 1500 will make for an easier ride to Whitewater Path Trailhead on your off days. If you’re hoping to haul any items down Route 111, you can use the standard integrated trailer health monitor to keep an eye on your cargo as you drive. If you and your front passenger run low on phone battery, then you can both use the available dual wireless charging pads4 at the same time to keep them powered. You won’t have to look far to get the information you need, as the optional Head-Up Display will project your speed and directions right on the windshield. Whether you have items or a passenger in the back seat, you can still see what’s behind you with the available digital rearview mirror, which uses a camera.
